President's Message

Dear Friends,

As the President of Bangladesh Institute of Peace and Security Studies (BIPSS), I wish to both welcome you to our website and thank you for taking interest in our organization. I am pleased to introduce my organization, BIPSS, to you. BIPSS is an independent think tank and research organization devoted to the study of peace and security issues of this region and beyond.

BIPSS is the first such institution in Bangladesh that produces informed analysis on all aspects of peace and security studies. As you view this website, I think you will be impressed at the great strides that BIPSS has made since its inception. BIPSS serves as a critical space for reflection, a forum for research, training, exchange and dialogue between practitioners, academics and activists at all levels.

The institute seeks to render the policy formulators and drivers into a single stream to perform proactive role in eliminating terror and radical elements from the society. The leading strategic thinkers, academicians, former members of the Civil Services, Foreign Services, Armed Forces and media personnel are associated with the Institute in its endeavor to devise a comprehensive framework for peace and security studies.

BIPSS has a number of regular publications. You will get access to our publications through this website.

Thank you for visiting our website. I hope you find the information useful.
