Bangladesh Institute of Peace and Security Studies (BIPSS) organised an in-house meeting on "South Asia and South Asian Security” on 13 May 2010 at BIPSS conference room on issues and politics hindering peace and security of South Asia.
Eminent experts identified some key factors including the rise of China and India, nuclear issue of India and Pakistan, potential water crisis, environmental conflict, delimitation of border and extra-territorial groups as major concern needed to be addressed for peace building in the region.
