BIPSS has recently completed a three day long regional conference on Climate Change and Security. The conference was attended by the members of regional stakeholders’ community. This is a part of the project/research study on “The Security Impact of Climate Change in Bangladesh and its Regional Neigherbourhood”. The project is a MacArther Foundation supported study on climate induced human displacement and migration in South Asia. The conference discussed and indentified the causes and regional impacts of climate change in South Asia and tried to perceive the nexus between climate migration and conflict.
