Bangladesh Institute of Peace and Security Studies (BIPSS) successfully organized a Young Strategists Forum in its Office Auditorium on 27^th July, 2011. The Forum was presided over by President, BIPSS Maj Gel Muniruzzaman, ndc, psc (Retd.). Dr. Greg Mills, Director of the Brenthurst Foundation, South Africa, and Former Special Advisor to NATO Commander in Afghanistan, was the chief guest and keynote presenter in the forum. The participants were many graduate students from different academic disciplines who have a keen interest in strategic affairs. During the presentation on ‘21^st Century Drivers in Africa’, Dr. Mills shared his research findings and personal insights on African development challenges and progress so far. The presentation was followed by an open discussion on general strategic issues with some specific focus on African security and South Asian security.
