
BIPSS has recently completed an international workshop on Counter-Terrorism Capacity Building (CTCB-VII) for the regional stakeholders. The third regional level workshop was held from 6th to 10th February 2011 in Dhaka. Representatives from all the SAARC countries joined the workshop. During the five-day long event, exhaustive modules were offered by a team of international CT experts from the USA, Singapore and Bangladesh. The next regional-level workshop (CTCB-VIII) will be held in March 27-31, 2011


BIPSS organized an international workshop on Counter-Terrorism Capacity Building (CTCB -VI) for the regional stakeholders. The Second regional level workshop (CTCB VI) was held from 19th to 23rd December 2010 in Dhaka. Representatives from all the SAARC (South Asian Association for Regional Cooperation) countries joined the workshop. During the five-day long workshop, exhaustive professional courses were offered by a team of international CT experts from USA, UK, Singapore and Bangladesh. The first regional-level workshop (CTCB 5) was held on 10-14 October 2010.

BIPSS organised an international workshop on Counter-Terrorism Capacity Building (CTCB- V) for the regional stakeholders. This was a two-years long British government funded and supported training programme conducted under the auspices of BCTR (Bangladesh Centre for Terrorism Research)- a specialised centre of BIPSS. The CTCB was a capacity building training workshop which aimed at developing the capacity of CT (counter terrorism) response community. The first regional-level workshop (CTCB 5) held tentatively from 10-14 October 2010. The representatives from all the SAARC (South Asian Association for Regional Cooperation) countries joined the workshop. During the five-days long workshop, exhaustive professional courses offered by a team of international CT experts from USA, UK, Singapore and Bangladesh.
