Bangladesh Institute of Peace and Security Studies (BIPSS) becomes the partner of Coventry University Higher Education Corporation with the signing of a ‘Memorandum of Understanding’ (MoU) between the two institutes. BIPSS President Major General Muniruzzaman ndc, psc, (Retd) and Pro Vice-Chancellor of Coventry University Higher Education Corporation Professor David Pilsbury singed the ‘Memorandum of Understanding’ (MoU) at Coventry University Campus, Coventry, UK on 1^stJuly, 2011 and then exchanged the documents of the MoU. President BIPSS also gave a presentation at the University of Coventry.

The MoU seeks to establish a working relationship in the area of continued professional development, training, applied research and joint participation in conference proceedings between the two institutes in the area of peace studies, security, disaster management and resilience for the mutual benefit of both parties.
