BIPSS President Major General Muniruzzaman (Retd) was invited by Turkish Asian Center for Strategic Studies to speak at a conference hosted in Istanbul, Turkey on “2^nd Think Tank Forum of the OIC Countries on Public Diplomacy”. General Munir spoke on “Security and Public Diplomacy” in which he highlighted major issues of public diplomacy linked with security. The presentation specially touched on issues relating to security aspects of public diplomacy, means of achieving security objectives through public diplomacy and furtherance of collaboration among the OIC countries through security sector public diplomacy.
