President BIPSS Major General Muniruzzaman (Retd.) is currently visiting Oslo, Norway at the invitation of Norwegian Government sponsored project on South Asian Water Security. He’s been invited to study and present his thoughts and insights on the subject as a visiting distinguished fellow. BIPSS has recently launched a project on Water Security in Bangladesh and South Asia in association with the Peace Research Institute Oslo (PRIO). During the fellowship, President BIPSS will also visit Bergen, Norway and speak at the World Conference on Climate Change highlighting water security issues and touch on threat landscape of security implications of climate change for international peace and stability.
