BIPSS President praises Bangladeshi-GCC ties

Manama June 9 (BNA) Major General and President of the Bangladesh institute of peace and security studies (BIPSS) Muniruzzaman hailed the strong ties with the GCC countries.
He pointed out, in particular, the religious, historical and cultural common denominators, describing these relations as productive. The think tank president was addressing a conference held at the Bahrain Center for Studies and Research (BCSR). BCSR Secretary-General Dr. Abdullah Al Sadeq and Advisor Dr. Mohammed Noman Jalal chaired the event in the presence the presence of the Bangladeshi Ambassador, to discuss his country's relations with the GCC member states. He highlighted the strong bilateral relations bonding the Kingdom of Bahrain and the Republic of Bangladesh, citing shared values.
