BIPSS Internship

Bangladesh Institute of Peace and Security Studies offers non-paid internship program for young promising scholars/students of politics, security, international relations and related social sciences who wish to make to career in research and analyses. The duration of internship is subject to a minimum of three months and a maximum of six months. Interns would be selected through a selection board of the BIPSS. He/she would be expected to complete and submit an analytical study on a contemporary issue affecting security in the region and international in about 7,000-8,000 words.

If found suitable, the Institute would disseminate the study either as BIPSS working paper or as a special feature on its website. The Institute will not bear any costs related to airfare and accommodation except providing office space, supervision, and logistic support.

Interested potential applicant/s are required to send a synopsis of approximately 500 words outlining the broad parameters of intended research project and detailed CV with two referees to the following address both via postal or email:
